“As a woman of a certain age, my biological alarm clock began ringing loudly and I knew I could no longer roll over and hit snooze. The alarm was a call to regular exercise and healthy eating habits or become reliant on medication to hold back a perfect storm of hypertension, hormones and who knows what else.
I was introduced to personal trainer, Rachel Ryan by a good friend who had been training with Rachel and was having great results. Her fitness center is a gym with good karma. I have always been a yoga vs. boot camp girl. My exercise regime had included both yoga classes and brisk walking but never enough to keep up with the "perfect storm" that was churning up ready to hit land almost exactly on my "50th" birthday. I knew I needed more, and since I could practically roll down my street and land in rachelryansfitness, I decided to join.
I began with Rachel's ball classes and have added personal fitness "Buddy Training". Rachel combines her professional knowledge of fitness with an incredible personal training style that pushes you to challenge yourself in a way that feels comfortable and healthy, but also competitive. Rachel has an understanding of the challenges facing women today who are combining family and careers but still want to take care of their health and bodies. The fitness options she has to offer will leave you without excuses. Just do it!” (back)
