"Why would a 75-year-old woman need a personal trainer?", so said my husband. I've always wanted one so when the opportunity arose, I went for it, deciding that it's never too late.

I have always exercised on my own and considered myself in decent shape, but after my first session, I realized that I had many more muscles than I thought and apparently had never used!

Rachel pushes you to your limit and beyond. Just when you think you've done as many repetitions as you could possibly do, you hear "Six more!" Counting down 6-5-4 etc. is another little trick (it's not any easier counting backwards). And then there's the matter of how much weight to lift. I've been comfortable with 5 lbs, maybe 8 on a good day but 12? I must be the only person my age with a 12lb. weight in each hand!

Seriously though, I have found working with Rachel to be a very good experience. I have found her to be very professional, well trained and easy to work with. All those muscles that I didn't know I had have gotten stronger and fitter and I'll just keep on giving it my best.  (back)
